A tax-deductible donation will support the efforts of the volunteer firefighters of the East Brunswick Independent Fire Company who selflessly act to answer your call for service 24 hours a day. Your fire tax does not pay for the salary, health benefits, or state pensions for any firefighters here in East Brunswick. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to fund social activities for our members and their families as recognition for their services and to help fund our participation and support for the many other community activities we participate in.

EBIFC Facts
- We have served the community for over 80 years.
- Over 70 members in our organization, some whom have served over 50 years.
- We answer upwards of 700 calls for emergency services a year.
- We operate 3 pumpers, 2 ladder trucks, a rescue truck and support vehicles from 3 stations.
- Active firefighters are all state certified and meet rigorous training standards.
- In addition to every type of fire emergency, we also respond to vehicle accidents, chemical spills and leaks, water and ice rescues, searches, utility emergencies, and assist other agencies with the widest variety of incidents.
In addition to our emergency duties, the Fire Company and its members also participate in and support numerous other community causes, such as:
- East Brunswick youth sports (Buddy Ball, EBHS Booster Clubs)
- East Brunswick High School scholarship programs (the William J. Bourque scholarship)
- Daisy Association
- Community Day
- School fire prevention programs
